Viagogo is the world’s largest source of live event tickets, operating in almost every country around the world. The company is growing quickly and is looking to hire ambitious, and talented people to help build out our Asia Pacific operations team.

The Operations Associate role offers a unique opportunity to take on customer facing responsibilities in a fast growing and very international ecommerce business. The role is to provide first class service to our customers, and assist with key operational tasks. The roll will be based in Taipei, report into the Operations Manager for Asia Pacific, and make periodic trips to our global operations center in Limerick, Ireland. Candidates must be comfortable working under pressure, and be willing to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.

 

This position is an ideal opportunity for a self–starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for live events.

 

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service – assisting customers over email and via inbound and outbound phone calls, in particular:
  • Helping ticket sellers (individuals and businesses) get tickets posted for sale, and shipped out to customers on time
  • Providing customers travelling internationally with up to the minute event and ticket order information
  • Troubleshooting time sensitive issues on event days, including supporting last minute ticket collections at concert and sports venues
  • Taking ownership of customer issues and seeing them through to resolution
  • Telesales – advising customers on their ticket requirements and closing ticket sales for customers over the phone, in particular for international events, VIP tickets and packages
  • Other ad hoc operations tasks required by a fast growing internet company

  • Hungry to take on responsibility and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Outstanding written and oral communication
  • A sense of humour and positive, “make-it-work” attitude
  • Eligibility to work in Taiwan
  • Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese
  • BA or equivalent from a leading university
